I absolutely LOVE Beth Gibbons. She is one of my 3 favorite female artists of all time.

heh me too .... a woman who I feel is HIGHLY underrated! We must spread the Beth word ;)

Its just that she hasnt done a major release in while (Ten Years!). And that most people find her to be too heavy for regular consumption.

Highly anticipated new album out on April 28th though!!!

I've been listening to songs off Third and have to say it remains first class, quite dark, very sexy stuff. No Australian tour dates tho *sniff hic sob*

Beth Gibbons and Portishead are favored writing tunes - quite fit for this girl's regular consumption ;)

This is fabulous - I absolutely adore her. I have to agree with Jayd, many people find her music to be too heavy, but that is exactly what I love about Beth and Portishead. Thank you for this :)
