Conversation at the dinner table in my house last night - kicked off with a discussion about my father - who is a large man - and his inability to keep his pants pulled up - and the subsequent embarrassment of children/grandchildren when his ass crack is beaming for the world to see.

The man also has no shame.



So - we all agreed that this 'baring of crack' is a bad idea. Then, the plot sickens - the conversation proceeds to - is it better to see a woman's ass crack than to see a man's - to which my husband replied, "I don't mind seeing that".

I dunno what to think about it - to me, a woman's ass crack hanging out screams: cheap, tacky, white trash - UN-sexy even if said woman is a Playboy Bunny or a super model - still very tacky. I tried unsuccessfully to wrap my head around this apparent gender difference - this "Women-are-from-Venus, Men-are-from-A-trailer-Park" disparity of opinion. No success.


This may be an age thing - I look at it and I just see TACKY. It may also be the fact that the majority of women that feel the need to flaunt the crack, are also flaunting cellulite and rolls of flab along with their lack of fashion sense.

Hubby and I did not see eye to eye on this one - you might say a rather large CRACK appeared between our opinions and not even a good pair of suspenders can correct this one.
