Tuesday as a reminder ...
Havent done this for ages ...
Unhappy
* relationship shit
* I have laryngitis and some sort of flu
* 165 for a therapist who tells me what I already know
* 80 for a doctor to give me permission to help myself
Happy
* I really love new job
* I really love the freedom that driving gives me
* I adore my kids - honestly, I have great teenage people!
* Happy I put energy into building a life and that I am beginning to see some results.
* I am grateful for my friendships old and new and the way they feed me, lift me when I can't fly
* Grateful my writing keeps limping along, in spite of me.
*Happy I can write to a caliber to be published, to win prizes, to give voice to the mad people who live inside my head.
* Happy I am going to the gym again
* Happy I gutted the house, cleaned it, aired out the bad vibes, changed the bed and happy that with some deep breaths and positive thinking, I can even enjoy the pleasure of not sharing it
* Alanis' latest CD, Flavours of Entanglement. I know she did this one, just for me.
* Last but not least, happy that VOX is always patiently waiting here for me even when I have been a totally lax bitch for months.

Hi, lax bitch!
You should also celebrate the fact that your happy list is more than twice as long as your sad list!
You just said a mouthful honey ... someone recently told me that they are unhappy and it occured to me that actually, we are responsible to make ourselves happy. I cut myself loose from taking any ownership for someone elses' unhappy, and I take full responsibility for creating happy for me.
I look around and I am pleased to say I have much to be happy about.
Missed your words Aubrey!
Well you're very talented so you should be published..
I'm a therapist and it doesn't have to cost that much actually (not sure how that translates into US dollars though).
I haven't been keeping up my Vox blog; I wasn't getting enough feedback.
Thank you Scarlet :)
I'm in Aussie, land of Expensive. I'll get a nice portion of that back from medicare - but here, its all up front baby! I can see the process definitely impacting low income folk and prohibiting access for services.
Sorry to hear you aren't VOX-ing. All I can tell you is if you stick with it, you will eventually meet some great people, you're blog will attract what it needs to grow and somehow your blog will even manage to tick on ... even when you can't.
