Backstabber-Damage W

I miss the man, who

I thought had my back, but not

the look-alike man, who

twists his lies

doing bodily harm

leaving grievious holes

where dreams escape
faster than the speed
of blood.

this is visceral. very raw. very sad... the photo really got me too..

Have you considered working with a photographer? A friend of mine in DC did that recently.

Thanks Lucy -- feeling v harsh with my work right now - probably because it is visceral ....

I work with photographs all the time and am not sure that any one photographer could give me what I look for ... I collect evocative imagery and when I write, I need to link image to that 'gut sense'... need a lot of choices to do that 'matching' - or I do anyway.

If anything, I am inclined to do more concept type photography myself ... I need a better camera.

feminist photography is in demand, I hear. I'm not good enough at portraits yet to attempt my ideas.
