.Have a look see at this. I thought it was pretty cool!
Recently my sister started to do a Phobia a day spot on her blog, so I thought I would find something I could write about daily and I decided to go with quotes.
Todays quote is:
Ok so here is my food for thought on this one. My mum and I were talking today about the expectations on men and women and the differnces between the two. Men go out they work their jobs and then they come home. Women on the other hand are expected to do the house hold things. The picking up, the cleaning up, the filling up the emptying out. If a man completes one of the tasks how we should bow before them and give them a great deal of applause. I think too many men out there put their wives under the pedestal instead of putting them up top. Horray for the woman that works a full time job has children and manages a household. I think each of these women should be given a large sum of money every month since they do the hardest jobs on the planet.....and do it with no days off!
Todays phobia is Staurophobia. Which is the fear of crosses or the crucifix.
Symptoms of Staurophobia are:
breathlessness, excessive sweating, dry mouth, nausea, feeling sick, shaking, heart palpitations, inability to think clearly, a fear of dying, becoming mad or losing control, a sensation of detachment from reality or a full blown anxiety attack.
Treatment Options:
Hypnotherapy
Energy psychology

For the past few weeks I have been trying to come up with something unique that i can write about everyday. After pondering and pondering I have came up with The Phobia of the Day. Basically what that in tales is that everyday i will post a fear for example fear of vegetables and then what the phobia is Lachanophobia.
Todays fear is of loooooooonnnnnggggg words and the phobia is called Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia which coincidently is like the LONGEST word I've ever seen!
Warning for those of you who have Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia do not read any further!!!
here are some long words and major tongue twisters you can try out saying:
Honorificabilitudinitatibus - Longest word in Shakespeare's works
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious - the 34-letter title of a song from the movie Mary Poppins
antidisestablishmentarian-ism - the movement or ideology that opposes disestablishment
